Lazarus - Development - 002

Continuing on from my last storyboard I have found a load of different ship models online but I am struggling at the moment to find something that would allow me to extract models and textures from the current game as the assets I've got currently have really bad topology or are old assets from years ago which doesn't currently fit into the shots I want, like the 'Phoenix Constellation' ship which is a model that's outdated and all of the landing gear and elevators are all down which changes the structure of the ship depending if they are up or down.

It would also be good to get some armour from the game as well as I know which one I would use for the main character and some ideas for what I want the pilots and the character hiding to be wearing as well. I have the idea that the main character is doing contracts for a company and the people attacking him are doing bounty contracts or maybe an opposing company trying to stop the main character.

The main character will hopefully be wearing the Morozov pyrotechnic armour from the game which I'm hoping I can get my hands on some models as I would like to change the look/colours and add some more things onto the helmet.

I have been able to find the base Morozov armour online that aren't textured or anything which I was going to try substance painter for the first time but it doesn't come with adobe's all apps plan and it isn't on uni apps either so I'm going to have to wait till I can get a subscription to it and hopefully wont take too long to get used to, for now though I'm going to focus on developing the story and creating some pre-vis shots to try and get the timing down a bit better for the storyboard so I can annotate it with detailed descriptions of exact timings etc.

I started by just using the assets I already have and some assets I've used in the past. I have been using octane in cinema 4d for a long time so I got a bit carried away playing around with redshift again.

I started to lay out what I've got in the story board which helped switch some shots over and remove some shots I wouldn't need. Here is a rough render of the pre-vis which I will be updating and adding things on over time. I only rendered a couple shots out because I needed to show my lecturer progress but there are in total 11 shots done for the pre-vis so far.
