Lazarus Development - 012

When it comes to assets I have already found a few sources for ship models from in-game which some guy had posted in a forum some years ago. I used one of the models in the storyboard/pre-vis but it was a really old model and didn't come with any texture maps or anything, I don't have much experience texturing big mesh's like this so I'd preferably want something that has textures that I can modify. The mesh was all one object as well so I think that would make it a lot more difficult.

I did try taking a smaller ship model apart so I had it all segmented but I spent like 4 days doing it and it just didn't seem like the best way of doing things.

I did also come across a post on spectrum DirectorGunner (2018), a forum site for the official game where someone had posted a kind of tutorial on how to extract assets from the game, I did download all the files and software's I needed but I still need some help from a friend as I'm clueless with all this script stuff and couldn't manage to get it up and running myself. I don't think it's as important right now though so I can probably wait until later to get final models.
